Is the Club going to have a float in the Temecula Parade? I don't see any info on the Calendar or where we will meet etc. If you want to use the trailer, it is available and I have a few volunteers willing to decorate it before the 4th. If you have somehting to put on the trailer, I would be willing to pick it up at Jims shop. This includes the club banner etc. Just a thought.

I was going to send you an email this morning. I can come pick up the trailer early, or if you want we can meet somewhere sat morning and hook it up to my truck. What size ball is the hitch?

Garry and I were talking about having his stand and my stand on the trailer with Jimi's huge flag. We will need to rig up a mount to hang the flag down the middle of the trailer.

We can have people in the bed of my truck. We can not, and should not hand out soda this year, especially to kids. I think giving the announcer a soda would be cool.

Randall wrote up a really nice announcement. We need to make sure it is finalized.

This is the final as far as I have it:

The Temecula Valley Homebrewers is celebrating their 19th year as a club.

From their humble beginnings of a few guys in a Winery of all places, they now have over 50 active members “brewing the Beer they drink”

The club is very diverse with members being both men and women, young and old. But not too young. But you’re never too old for good Beer.

The club holds many annual events such as Mass brew days, teach a friend to Home Brew, and Oktoberfest. While they are a Beer Brewing club, the focus is on Brewing fine Beer. Not just drinking it, although that does happen.

The purpose of the club is to promote the knowledge and appreciation of Beer in all its many forms. Also, to teach and encourage others in the art of Brewing their own Beer.

Five (5) of their members won several medals at this years San Diego County Fair including two (2) Gold’s.

How big is the flag? The back of the trailer has a ramp with expanded steel plate that is app 8ft x 6ft in height. There are 4 tube holders on each side of the trailer for 1/2 pvc pipe. I normally use the pvc tube for a covered wagon type of shade canopy. There are two holders on the front also.

The Flag is 8' Tall by 10' or 12' long. We were thinking that we could hang the flag from one end to the other end of the trailer down the middle. Then have a brew stand on each side of the flag. I think it would be really cool to see a 8' tall flag hanging.

The more Red, White, and Blue we have, the better we will be judged.

If it is 10' long, we could hang the flag vertically at the back of the
trailer and still be under the 14' height limit.
I am also under pressure from Brenda and her friend to let them start on the
decorating of the trailer. I need the go ahead and some decorations. They do
requests if somebody has good ideas.
