Attention one and all!
 
This month is “Extract Beer Month”  All of you that have some extract beers should enter into our Club’s competition.  The winner of our clubs competition will send their beer off to the AHA to represent our club for the extract beer club competition.  We are going to do things a little differently this time.  Anyone who would like to enter, please drop off 1 bottle of your beer at the Murrieta Homebrew Emporium by the 18th.  Simply attach a piece of paper with your name and the type of beer it is and a phone number that we can contact you at.  On Sunday the 19th, we will have a judging panel set up to judge your beers as per the BJCP guidelines.

We will be filling out a judging slip just like you would normally get at an AHA sanction competition.  I know this is on a little short notice, but I am hoping for a large turn out from the club for this competition.  The only restriction on what you can enter is that at least 50% of the fermentables must be extract.  Remember this is all FREE, simply drop off 1 bottle of your finest extract brew by the 18th of April, we are going to try and see about getting some type of prize for the winner as well, so more incentive to enter.  Please let me know if you have any questions and drop off your entry at the Murrieta Homebrew Emporium!
